I wanted to make this cute slide show fully equipped with sound and everything. However, I do not have time right now to do that. I am busy, busy, busy. As you can tell from the long period b/w posts.
Anyways, my ward had their trunk or treat on Halloween night (sigh). I really like to go trick or treating, especially in my neighborhood. All my neighbors are really sweet and it gives me an opportunity to jaw jack with them. Yet, I was pleasantly surprised at how relieved and happy I was that trunk-or-treat was on actual Halloween night. Besides the dressing up part, I really don't get the holiday. All you guys that know my love of the theatre understand just how happy it makes me to have an excuse to dress-up in a costume! Oh if only I could sew! I would make the most elaborate costumes...that is if me boys EVER get out of their Star Wars kick. Yes, I was Padme from Star Wars for the 2nd year in a row. Do you know how many people didn't know who I was??? Someone actually asked me if I was a super hero? Dressed in all white? I even had the blaster on my belt. (Unfortunately, I did not get a pic of me- but it was pretty true to the pictures of her online-before she got her white skin tight shirt mysteriously ripped away to reveal her perfectlly chizeled abs by that mean dragon thing)
Gary was a Jedi, Ammon was the cutest Darth Vader in the whole world, Gabe was Obi Wan Kenobi, and Zechariah was Annikan Skywalker-BEFORE he turned to the dark side! Gabriel had asked to be Obi Wan for months before Halloween. I purchased their costumes online and then my mother sent me an incredible Hulk costume. So, he was Hulk in the morning and Obi Wan that night. Whatever.
We had fun and that's all that matters!

great costumes!! love that you got to recycle your costume for yet another year... that's just your way of GOING GREEN!! haha Lucas was a fireman like three years in a row.. so i get it! great costumes.. the boys look too cute and are growing so fast!! i understand the busy thing... oh to just sit and do nothing... hmmm, i wonder what that feels like?

Wow! You guys look fantastic. Zech is INTENSE...he event put the candy down for that one pic. Gabe's makeup...I mean HULK's makeup also looked great. Ammon is getting so big! I cannot wait to see you all during the holidays! Where were you in these pics? Tell your family to take some photos of you.
